Hello, I just wanted to say great work on this game. I never played it back in the day but I am looking forward to playing this version.
I have one question. I run the game via emulationstation and retroarch, when I run the cartridge version the first time I run the game the menu pops up to select a version to launch. To get to the menu again I simple enter retroarch menu and Reset, the game then pops up the menu again. My question is should the disc version work the same way? Every time I launch the disc version or reset the disc version it only loads the Fury+ game. I have tried turning of Jiffydos but that does not help. I really was hoping to use the disc as the 1541 was what I used back in the day and I enjoy the sound of loading. Should the disc version have a menu?
Hi! The disk version unfortunately has no menu, except for the regular disk menu - LOAD "$",8 and LIST - All the files are there, though. Thank you for the kind words!
Was the original 1984 game removed from the Duology? I've downloaded it from three different sites but they all go straight into ROF+. The menu shown above that allows you to pick which game you want doesn't seem to exist in the version I'm running. Is there some trick to it?
Thank you for freely sharing your work. Bruce Lee was my favorite C64 game growing up. It's great to have a bug-fixed version of it now, as well as Return Of Fury!
Hi! Sorry, I have no idea what happened here. Anyway, it has been re-instated. The zip contains a CRT and a D64 file. Let me know what you think! Thanks.
Just here to say thanks for this awesome game and the wonderfull load screen! I could not believe when i read about this new Bruce Lee game. I love that it has the same gameplay as the original. I played it on my C64 a few times, works great. Thanks again!!
For the player selection to work in Bruce Classic where you need to either press F1, F3 or F5 I have made a .cjm file with the following content:
T:Bruce Lee Duology Y:2019 X:pal J:2*:JU,JD,JL,JR,JF,JF,JU,JU,,F1,F3,F5,SP
Just copy/paste the above in a text-editor and save.
The filename needs to be the same as the .crt filename, just with .cjm as extension. Just make sure that there is no hidden extension, like e.g. .cjm.txt !
The .cjm file needs to be in the same directory as the .crt file.
On the Bruce classic selection screen you can now press the leftmost button for F1, the second button for F3 and the third button is F5.
Hi! Only Classic, or any other file as well? Thank you for reporting. I updated the d64, hopefully it works better. Please confirm if you have the time.

Hi BiceBob. Very strange. Nothing was removed, but just to be sure I downloaded it myself from here and tested it.
"Bruce Lee Classic 3p" is the original game, albeit with an optional 3 player option. Maybe that caused some confusion. Hope that helps!
Thank you for freely sharing your work. Bruce Lee was my favorite C64 game growing up. It's great to have a bug-fixed version of it now, as well as Return Of Fury!
Thank you for the kind comments! Happy Bruced-Up holidays :)
Happy Bruced-Up holidays to you as well!
Such great work! Thank you for taking the time to create so much fun for the rest of us. I echo Runstop73's comments.
Thank you cbernard! The game has been on my mind since, 1985 I think it was, and I'm proud to carry the torch :)
I can't see a download. Did you remove it or is it somewhere else?

I will as soon as I find a Vice copy to play it on. Kind of stumped atm as I'm running Linux off a livedvd.
Did you get it working? Crossing fingers.

Thanks Runstop73. This old digital heart warms up hearing you enjoyed it!
True labour of love... I love it.. and great to have a stable OG Bruce Lee bundled in a crt format.. 10/10
Thanks Hayesmaker, really appreciated!
Really great work, thank you!!
I've tried the .crt version on a C64 Mini.

Awesome! I added it as a download!
Files updated: Fixed a bug in Bruce Classic where lives suddenly went to 0. Fixed a bug in ROF+ where game froze if button hit in demo mode.
Disc version of B/L Classic wont load with a Jiffy kernal.

Can confirm all files working again with Jiffy kernal. Thank you :)
Thank you, that takes a load off my shoulders :) Hope you enjoy it!
